Detectives investigating the murder of a Sale Moor man have made another arrest.
A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody for questioning.
Mike Grimshaw, aged 34,was stabbed in the neck outside his home in Royton Avenue at 11.10pm on Thursday July 20th.
Neighbours tried in vain to give first aid, and were joined by officers at the scene, but he died shortly after being admitted to hospital.
Detective Chief Inspector Sarah Jones,of GMP’S Major Incident Team said:”Our investigation is continuing and we have made another arrest. I continue to urge anyone who witnessed the incident itself or has information that would help us, to get in touch.”
